At least with the Monster they dont cost 1000s of $ so you can buy one sight unseen over the net and always flip it if you dont like it. Someone on TRF would probably snap it up.

I'm a Samurai fan personally, seriously thinking of getting one....

Just buy one off eBay....there are plenty of reputable sellers where you can pick one up for $100-150. I wouldn't sweat it too much.
