I've added a pair of Subs to my collection...

I've bought two Rolexes in the past month. I personally am not the biggest fan of the new Submariner design, so I bought two of the old Subs to finish my collection. The TT was bought from TRF member Tony (justrolexes) the other I found here in NYC.

The TT blue faced watch that I've wanted since I was a teenager....

A ND Sub without CSOC script. I wanted this one for its clean simplicity. It will probably replace my SD and my go to diving watch. It has a tritium dial, but unfortunately the hands have been replaced with Super Luminova. If anyone has a set of tritium hands for sale or knows where to find them, please send me a PM.

The Rolex collection as it is now. In the future I want to add a Daytona and perhaps an Explorer. Who am I kidding, I want them all.

I have a bunch of other watches but dont know if posting them here would be appropriate as this is a Rolex board...

Cheers,
Chris

Nice family shot!

I would have guessed your next watch would be a DSSD.

The DSSD is definitely growing on me, but I dont like the text that reads "original gas escape valve" or "ring lock system." That being said, I'm yet to see the watch in person and cant fully decide till I do so. Often these things look different in person then they do in photos. I have to admit that the GV is really growing on me as well.

Your thoughts on the DSSD mirror mine. It's also a little too bit for me...

Just wondering, besides the text on the dial, what's the

big difference between the SD and the ND Sub that would prompt you to sell the SD? (Me, I'd rather have the date function sans cyclops).

Hello Zes Homme!! You got an impressive collection of Subs!!
By the way: I also prefer the cleaner look of the non COSC dial in the non date Sub.
Enjoy your watches in good health!
Very cordially, Abel

Very nice collection. The non-COSC Sub smiles at me the most -- something magical about that icon.

Yeah, youre probably right. Everytime I get another watch, I always tell my SO that someday they'll be heirlooms. Upon saying this more recently, she shot me a look and asked me how many kids I thought we were going to have...
