Will Rolex ever come out with an SS version of the Yachtmaster II?
I know it may not be the most popular watch out there but that YMII really turns me on! I LOVE that dial... how long does it take for Rolex to release an SS of a "newly" designed watch?

Well, the usual pattern is a three year cycle: year 1, 18ct; year 2, TT; year 3 SS. The YM II was launched back in 2007, and nothing else yet - I have a feeling it'll just be an 18ct exclusive

Given the market that watch was targeted for I doubt it.

I don't think the will ever make it in SS... and if they did it will sell for $15K + and for little more you can get the gold one... that is IMO
