Flying along in flight...cruising along in cruise....
Observe the sample airway chart below and note that there are "Airways" in the sky, just like highways on the ground. Each airway is identified by it's own unique letter/number i.d. Further, each point on that airway has unique "waypoints" each with their own 5 letter i.d.
Saw this waypoint for the first time recently....POINT ROLEX! It exists on the UL975 airway (typically a transition from Transoceanic RVSM airspace to London Control for you aviator types!) about 60nm west of Manchester England. "Cleared Route Direct Rolex" is a clearance I would like to receive one day! --Paul

Nice Find! So it does exist. There's a couple of way points in my neck of the woods. One is BALLS and another one is KATPU...... It never gets old for the Focker pilots.I hear quite a bit of "check, the Focker by the balls".....dry pilot humor.
