So I done did it......
Welllll - here's the story. My first Rolex was a Tudor bluesy sub that I greatly regret selling. I thought I was doing well making a couple hundred on that.......nope. Anyway, I have two vintage pieces now (Tudor Oysterdate) and Rolex Oyster Precision (my workhorse).
I've been thinking and thinking that I need a more "recent" Rolex and I kept coming back to the Air King. It is the Rolex I "grew up with", having haunted the dealers wishing that I could afford one. So, I pulled the trigger today. Got a great deal on a preowned one. Here are some pics courtesy of the seller....what do you think? :) As you can figure - I will be watching the mail closely this week...... - John |

I think if it calls upon you, the you should get it! Especially pre-owned...you might not get a second chance if this one slips away! :D
*EDIT* OOPS! I guess you DID pull the trigger! So YAY FOR YOU! :D |

I love the Air King. I only wish that it didn't look lost on my wrist. Oddly, twelve years ago, I wore a 34mm watch and was quite pleased with it. Now, it seems that 36mm is my lower limit, thus the Explorer that I now own.
Congratulations. I hope all turns out well. |

I have the same watch and I love it!!! Fills the gap between my beater watches, and my dress watches. Works great with jeans and a polo.
