preach Sir

I am changing them on everyday basis and I can`t say. Modern have all those great new features but classic there is something in...soul. I love both of them.

to steubi1...don`t care about camera I am on the same boat but I will make some nice pictures in one week and also some newbie mini review of both models 16610 vs 116610. I hope that I survive hard critics here on TRF

My thoughts exactly

Given the choice, I'd personally go for the new, it looks like it means business

I love the upgrades that the modern watches have. Better clasps, bigger cases, heavier bracelets.. I love it all!! lol

The classic is graceful, elegant and perfectly proportioned.

And the modern is not.

What was Rolex thinking...

I like my classic, but I'm thinking about something modern!

I voted for the Modern (Current) version. I always embrace change, especially when it is for the better.

Why have you called it the "Super" case? Is that a wide-spread term for the new version?

Modern for me! That doesn't mean that I don't like classics though!

You can't beat classic for value and looks. And, they aren't makin' them anymore either.

I didn't realize my watches are classics!

I guess the new maxi cases have created 3 categories? Vintage, classic and modern!

Is there a bias since most of the voters have the classic? Be interesting to see the results in a few years time. The GMT-C seems to have won most people over but it has taken 2 years. I prefer the classic - less bling. But have not seen the sub-c yet in person so the jury is still out.

Fully agree: Would be interesting to see this vote in two years from now.

I love my modern Sub C, and I am sure it will be the next "classic"!

If you're asking about the watches - classic
If you're asking about your camera - it's time to go modern

You are absolutely right--------

The funny thing is, I HAVE got a good camera recently, but until now, I have been too lazy to study this japanese instruction manual which is (as usual) terrible pain to read!!!

JJ, me too, I like them both, beside the new one I have another six "classics".

Actually, it was my intention to have this "black or white" vote, and it is not a surprise to me that 2/3 of us vote for classic.
But again, let's see in two years from now....

BTW, the only thing I am not into are vintage Rolexes. I like their look and style and everything, but I am not willing to pay horrible prices for a watch which in the very end is old and worn out...

i need an option for both....... i love my gmt2c but i would still like to have a pepsi gmt master. i love the older version of the dd and dj compared to the new one. i like the regular sub but the new one is ok and i would rather have the old version of the sea dweller as opposed to the new one. i am all mixed up. lmao
