Help on Tudor 79280P

Guys, check this out

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROLEX-TUDOR-PR...item2a08d92a87

I'm just not sure, no "Tudor Prince Geneva" engraving on the case back, no lug holes, 455B end links (isn't that a Rolex end link code anyway?), clasp looks suspect in a couple of ways (length of outer part, stamping on inner)....

Wondering, could it be a genuine head on an counterfeit bracelet and end links?.....the links in my other Tudro Jubilee bracelets have curved upper surfaces, this just looks too flat....

I'm NOT a Tudor pro, but it looks good to me. My only concern is the underside of the end links. A jeweler can close them down to fit snug.

I don't see anything to cause me to think it's anything other than a Tudor.

Maybe a few pics of the papers would be cool, along with the serial number on the case.

Paul I agree, with two reservations, that's the engraving on the case back.....I've never seen one without that...and the fact that there are no lug holes, again I have never seen that....I have a 79280 and a 79260....both have the engraving and the lug holes.......that's only for the head itself.......the bracelet rings all kinds of alarm bells for me

Interesting Bill, I own a 79280P. My case has lug holes and looks to have a more curved shape looking side on. Case back on mine is engraved. This one certainly does have a few issues IMO

Exactly my thoughts Peter....I have contacted the seller and asked for a scan of the document he says he has.....also asked him for photographs of the model and serial numbers....lets see if he comes back to me.....seems a bit suspect that someone already returned it due to the fact they thought it was fake......

One other thing I just noticed from the sellers pictures....the bracelet clasp has 5 adjustment holes.....mine both have 7

Bill,
After further inspection the lack of lug holes, wrong end pieces, rather unusual dial, wrong case back, and wrong box, I'd stay clear of this one.

I can not even see it , I do not know what happens I get this a lot lately :

"Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries. We are blocking your viewing in an effort to prevent restricted items from being displayed. Regrettably, in some cases, we may prevent users from accessing items that are not within the scope of said restrictions because of limitations of existing technology. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope you may find other items of interest on eBay."

Anyway but by the sound of things it is not good , try PM'ing Stan " tudorman8276 " in case he doesn't chime in himself .

Contacted the seller and.....

He wrote back to me with a picture of the case back......and an attachment in MS Word format which is supposed to be an "authenticity document".....quite frankly I assume he cobbled it together himself....he also stated that "there are no visible serial numbers at 6 and 12", I wrote back and told him that the bracelet needs to be removed to see them, maybe he didn't realise.......BUT....scary stuff.....I had assumed Tudor to be immune from this sort of thing.......very scary

It's still listed though Tristan, I reported it but that's the first time I have done that....I couldn't sem to find anywhere where I could expand on my reason for reporting, the message I could send was limited to very few characters in length.....bummer really....is there a way to tell ebay more?

No worries , Bill . It has been reported "higher up " You will find that those high feedback sellers take some time to be removed via the public channels .
I'm pretty sure it will be gone by tonight if not earlier .
