If you were to buy a duplicate Rolex which one would it be.

duplicate meaning the exact same? Or could it be a different color? Like a TT black sub to go with a TT blue sub.

If I had to get two exactly the same I would get two sub LVs. One to wear and one to keep.

If it could be a variation of the same watch I would get another TT DJ with a different dial.

I'd most likely get a black SS Sub to complement my TT Blue one. The SD is a strong contender too, though.

Yes, I meant to say exact same one.

In certain Asian countries, the word "duplicate" is often referred to a FAKE!!!

I guess I don't really understand the question. I'd have to own one of every model I like before I'd even think about buying 2 of the same one. Even then, I think I'd find something else to spend my money on.

That's just me, though.

Two of the same ? Why ? A bit of a funny question ...

More logical is if you own a Blue TT Sub,which will be the second ? Mine obviously is the Sea-Dweller ...

Every collection needs a touch of gold and a ss watch. The choice of model to fullfil this criteria,is your own.

Wrist time is about 50/50 for each.

The favourite ... The Blue King !!

duplicate? replica?

what forum is this?

If I'm understanding your intent then it'd prolly be one of each SS model. The TT Blue Sub I'd have in triplicate (one from the early 1990s, a current Z, and one to wear on a blue and gold NATO strap).

The better to annoy the James Bond looking fellow on here... Is that picture really you, JJ?

Nah...while the movie he starred in was very good (On Her Majesty's SS), Connery would have done much better justice to it!!
