116610 - The New Yardstick for Diving Watches

Evening all,

Been at work today, and we've just taken delivery of our first 116610. I've been looking forward to this ever since I first saw the pics come out from Basel, and I'm happy to report I'm not disappointed. The weight is spot on, it feels solid without being heavy, the ceramic bezel is a joy to look at, and the glidelock is the clasp the Submariner deserves. Simply, Rolex have pulled out all the stops with this, it is brilliant

Next job is to find this (and a black dial Daytona) a brand new, loving, caring home I doubt they'll be in the window for too long

Forgot my camera today, but I might be able to snatch a few if I sort my act out

All the best,

Chris

Chris, you are spot on with your assessment of the new 116610. I have absolutely NO regrets (despite the post a few days back saying I would ) about getting rid of my 14060M in favor of this. It has not left my wrist except to sleep and shower since arriving Tuesday. I'm hoping to have time to take better pictures this weekend. I just can't say enough good things about this watch! All the new features are excellent, especially the bracelet and bezel action.
Quick and dirty from Tuesday:

I too am totaly hooked on the new 116610, difficult to describe but the look and feel are so spot on. It is the first 40mm watch I do not need to take of while sleeping. Glidelock adjustments make this watch perfect on my wrist.
