SS Submariner

I was wondering if anyone know the new model of SS submariner will be releasing any time soon?

Been wanting to purchase a new SS sub but not sure if i should wait it out until the new models arrive.

You really need to do some in-depth study to decide as the SS Sub hasn't even been shown yet... and nobody will even know if it will be made until the Basel Show in April of 2010.. That is when new models are shown, then they aren't released for another 6 to 8 months........... So, if it is released at all, it won't be on the market until almost 2011..

When/if it is, it will be completely different block cases, ceramics, exotic clasp, solid bracelet...and a couple of thousand bucks more...

With the way Rolex has been releasing watches after the Basel Fairs I'd predict to say around July/August 2010. The first TT Cerachrome Sub showed up here in Canada in around the middle of July.

Both the GMT IIc in T/T and the newly released Subc in T/T seem to be using the same cases as what the S/S Sub will be using. So no added changes in pressing machines and tooling would be necessary.

My Seadweller DeepSea arrived in late August 2008 exactly 4 months after Baselfair 2008.

If the new S/S Cerachrome Sub is anything like the S/S GMT IIc then it will be an immediate hit, it would look nice with "Submariner" in red.
