Rolex almost always has at least two prefixes on the market at any time, and usually there is 3.. Such as F, D, Z, and then D, Z, and M, and finally Z, M, and V...

They are now just releasing the Random numbers, and we know that some of the new ceramics are also found with V. This means that it is very likely that as they finish closing out the final discontinued models, and also warehouse and ship the more recent updated models; they are still making/shipping M and V of some models.. We will likely see fewer and fewer of the M, and possibly still see V serials for another year or two before the entire line becomes completely random... For some of the exotics, such as solid gold and platinum models......... probably 3 or 4 years (or more) to finish off the M and V serials that have been allocated..
