I love the looks of the all WG sub aka the smurf - simply a stunner and it's weight is awesome!

I have one and it feels substantial on the wrist, it feels almost as heavy as my platinum Day-Date. I would attribute that to the fact that it's larger at 40mm.

Regarding drawing attention, that's the only negative I can think of. When I'm out and about, or talking to someone, it usually catches their attention and that's a distraction for me.

I have the blue dial model and I love it...no regrets here.

I like the yellow gold and blue face, I just don't want to look like a clown in jeans and T shirt or like a Mobster in a suit.

No worries, really. I think it looks great casual/business/formal, it's just a matter of personal taste and if it works for you.

I had a YG blue sub--great watch. It is great with a suit or jeans. Does it get attention--most definitely! It is a beautiful watch and one I wished I still had. Probably me second favorite Rolex I have owned--second to the Platinum DD with glacier dial. Is it heavy on the wrist--not too heavy--it feels solid and wears comfortably!

While I was in Cali, I saw some jean-wearing people with a gold AP ROO. Looks great!

I have never owned an 18K Sub, but I have seen a few "in the wild". I can tell you, that they are "without equal", simply beautiful
