Hey Guys;
I joined the forum a week ago and have been reading every day and not yet posted so here goes. I am a 25 year old teacher in the UK, so i am not your typical buyer for a Rolex. As with most 25 year olds, im not a man with a lot of money, but Mr Grandad has just given me £1100 to buy something to remember him by and so i decided that a nice watch should be that chosen thing. I started off by looking at the Omega Seamaster, as some are within my budget and i realised that i was really rushing into things. I didn't want to buy something just because i had the money, so i promised myself i wouldn't buy anything until i had saved the same amount to go with it. So i have been saving and dreaming of watches for a while and now i have finally achieved my goal. I was sure that i had chosen the watch of my dreams, a Breitling Datora. Every time i see one i cant help but grin, but they are a delicate watch (only 30m water resistant) and hard to come by second hand for my money. I like the look of the omega planet oceans, but there is only one problem with that watch... its not a rolex submariner. So now i am on the impossible journey to try and find a submariner for £2200. its gonna be hard, if not impossible but i am here to learn, and keep my eyes on the forums. Then i just have to avoid buying a fake Anyway - "Hello!" |
