Trusted sellers can't inventory everything. It may take some patience. There are a number of trusted dealers on TRF: DavidSW, Tempoking, Justrolexes, Mosco, and Bodypump (and others I can't think of off the top of my head) are all solid. PM'em and they may have inventory available.

That is a great tip!

Thats akin to saying, "If you are buying a Rolex you should pay as much as possible."

Who doesn't want to find the best deal / not spend money he / she doesn't have to. Come on. With sales tax close to 10% in some states, that's not chump change.

Yeah, currently the sales tax for me is 9.25% with some other bay area cities coming in higher.

$6,000 shipped from an AD sounds like a fair price to me.

ADs can ship out of state, but they can't sell watches by phone or mail. This is a condition of being a Rolex AD, which is why there are no vendors authorized to sell Rolexes online.

If you go into the store and buy the watch, they will ship it to you, and the vendor is not required to collect sales tax on a watch shipped out-of-state.

You are technically responsible for reporting out-of-state purchases and paying the taxes. Many people forget to do this.

yeah, i know i'm technically supposed to report the out of state purchase and pay the taxes. but honestly, who really does besides those individuals who live by the book? i'd be surprised if a majority did since it would make me feel like the minority.

i guess the wording of the request should be changed to... needing help finding an ad who will sell and ship to an out of state buyer who has never stepped into their store and with a discount.

This is not a problem IF you buy F2F, some even let you wear the watch out and ship the box.
Just road trip to NV or catch a cheap roundtrip to Vegas and get it done.

PS Reserve it with a CC deposit before you go.
