Incoming!!!

I need to be buying watches like I need another whole in the head.
My fiancees watch will be here this weekend (Rolex pink flower dial (thats what she wanted!) 36 mm DJ with the Oyster bracelet and diamond bezel.)
I bought the Marathon MSAR the other day (love Marathon watches!)
I am getting married Sept 5th and going on my honeymoon Sept 7th (12 days in Switzerland)

BUT

I have always liked the looks of this watch...
Don't know a ton about it (anyone who can shed more light on the quality etc please let me know). I know this is an almost exact replica of their old watch and I know they are part of the Swatch group now.

So here it is....
My new baby.
I will be picking it up in person tomorrow. I did not steal the watch but it was a good deal and the guy is 10 minutes away from me so I could not beat it.

This Longines Legend Diver is on my watch list. Basic a re-issue of the 1960's version of the watch.

Back in 1953, Longines's joint effort with the bathyscaph “Trieste” for depth record, supplying the on-board instruments. They came up with this classic watch that combines good performance and elegance with a "Legend Diver".

Congrats!! Post some pics when you have it!!

Its here!

I really like it, nice piece and feels great on the wrist.

Never been a Longines guy but this one just looked good to me.

Jeremy, any thoughts on the Legend diver after a month of ownership?

Its a nice watch
I ended up trading it off as someone just had to have it off my wrist one day.

I will get another.

I think its a great watch for someone who owns a few watches, its not something Id want as just a second or even third myself.
