Thanks for that. I am new but have been reading as much as I can and kept coming across "WIS" and for the life of me could not figure that one out. Makes perfect sense now.

Here's one that has popped up and used quite frequently:

NOS: New Old Stock.

It took me a long time to figure this one out, although I was already familiar with the term, New Old Stock.

In my former profession NOS meant "Not Otherwise Specified," which is a residual category for certain disorders, as in:

WIS: Rolex

WIS: Patek

WIS: Breitling

WIS: NOS
