Just wanted to get formal instructions on how to remove the factory straps. I see the screws on the straps, but just wanted to make sure that was the only thing. Thanks.

you need a screw driver for both end of the strap and you are good to go.

There are some tutorials on TZ about it, it can be frustrating for after-market straps so I've heard.

You'll need one of the blocks w/the screwdriver bit in it as well as a screwdriver. The two screwdriver method is a little precarious IMO. A pair of tweezers is also handy when dealing with the tiny screw on the deployant.

Yes, the screws (on both sides) are the only ones holding the strap.

However, there's another set of screws ON the strap, that holds the two "lugs". You can remove that too, should you want to change just the strap.

So you can remove both sets, or either.

Thanks guys. Any advice on removing the deployment buckle? There looks to be no screws??

The screw is on the underside of the clasp, near the spring bar is located. You need a very small screwdriver for it. Once it's loose, you can then push the bar out.

Anyone have any recommended tools? I have screwdrivers small enough for the screws, but the slots seem extra, extra thin. I have Rolex tools and other fine tip tools that have always been perfect for my Breitlings & Rolex watches. Any suggestions?

I just used the same Bergeon screwdrivers I've used on my Rolex. I think I used both a 1.5mm and 1.3mm on the AP, though. Can't recall 100% off the top of my head, but if you need more info I can dig it up.
