Hello gents

I'm usually on another watch forum but came across this once I started looking into purchasing my first Rolex. Great site. I'm researching to buy my first Rolex--a ladies SS/18k rose DateJust with black MOP, fluted bezel, and jubilee band (179171).

I'm sure this is the most basic question in the world, but if one purchases a used Rolex will RSC no longer service the watch? Even if it's >2 years old? I'd like to be able to get my watch serviced every five years or so.

Looking forward to learning so much here!

Welcome, please remember the trend is for ladies to get larger size dials/watches these days.
It is important that you see the sizes 'in the flesh' so to speak so you can see for yourself the model/size to determine what is most suitable.
The regular ladies size has a very small dial that may be cute but no so practical.

Welcome to TRF.
RSC will service watches up to 20 or more years old depending on when the movement was discontinued.

Welcome to the Forum. No problem having your genuine Rolex serviced if you purchase it used (pre-loved) .

Welcome to TRF, Lady!!

I see no reason why any RSC should refuse service of a genuine Rolex after the 2-year warranty period is over.

As long as the watch is authentic and not modified in any way, an RSC will accept it gleefully. After all, you will be paying for it.

Hope you enjoy your stay on this great forum of ours!!

Cheers - JJ

So, after spending a day looking at watches I've decided to get the midsize instead of the Lady; It really is a nicer size. So, here I am calling around various ADs to see if anyone has it in stock! Apparently I don't have access to post a WTB post yet. Thanks for the suggestions, y'all.

Nice to see that you're narrowing down the options! Best of luck in your search!
