Any one can report a listing to ebay. Just click on the "Report Item" link under and to the right of the Seller Info.

Saying "Someone needs to report this asap" is OK, but you need to give some reasons??

I'm sure it's older than he says, holes in the lugs, no SEL, and SWISS on the dial. If the dial is correct it might be from 1998 to 2000, although I can't recall seeing a 16610 with "SWISS", but then my memory is not what it use to be.

I just looked, and it is still there, sold. Does not look like the account has been hijacked. Appears as if the seller is simply selling off some of his personal stuff, along with the usual wares he has been selling over the years.

I am still too much a novice to make any educated comments as to this watch's authenticity, but the account and seller appear ok, to me.

Did it sell for an appropriate price for what it appears to be?

There is nothing wrong with this watch, why all the fuss? I hope this guy didn't end it becuase someone contacted him from here and said they were going to report it. Why don't we educate ourselves before we make libelous comments?

Not reported by me, in fact I thought the original post a little strange and vehement. hence my earlier question.

It would make things a little easier around here for us if all followed Steve's sticky, especially the 2nd post http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=23163 .

Are you SERIOUS !!!??? The minute markers are FAR to bold and pronounced and I can't say I've ever seen a Rolex dial with "Swiss" on it. "Swiss-<T" and "Swiss Made" yes, but just "Swiss"...never seen one like that. Sorry. Next time I will report to eBay myself. (now that I know I can.)

No, you're memory is fine. There's never BEEN a 16610 with "Swiss" on it. That's my point.

Minute markers are all wrong and they didn't make a 16610 that has simply "Swiss" on it. Pre 2002 had the "Swiss-<-T"

Not so sure about that. I have seen plenty "pre-2002" 16610's with just the "Swiss" dial labeling. All the ones I've seen have been A-serials (not sure if there were any other series/years).

A quick search turned these up:

OK, I stand corrected. "Swiss" was put on Submariner dials. But it doesn't take an expert to see the HIGHLY over pronounced minute markers on the dial. Compare the 3 link listings to the watch I'm certain was a fake. I will be watching for the feedback left (if any) by this watch that caused me to start this thread. And I will keep you posted. I've certainly been wrong before but I've a very good feeling I'm NOT wrong about this one. Thanks for the input. gentleman. Regards.

I think what you are seeing is the edge/angular distortion of the crystal at certain angles (very prominent in the 4th picture). If you look at the 3rd picture, you can see the indices are not nearly as large/distorted.
