Change Bezel

I have the opportunity to buy a Rolex bezel grenn 16610 (anniversary) at a good price and was wondering if anyone knows if at the Rolex Service New York, I could put a black and if anyone has an idea if it would come out very expensive.
Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

I don't understand the replies. I suppose that it was a mistake of the system.
If I want to make some changes in my Rolex such as changing the bracelet, put a gold bezel, or whatever, while corresponding to the same model I suppose that Rolex has no objection to doing so.

Rolex USA has every objection to you changing your watch. They are of the opinion it's really their watch and they just allow you to pay your money and wear it within their rules. You can buy a black bezel from some of the good guys here and have your watchmaker install it or diy.

Thanks Buz
It is a consistent response. Maybe in the submariner or similar but not other models as datejust or similar. I was in another country and the service Rolex t change the bezel or bracelet or whatever course charging whatever. What is so bad that one wants updated his clock? .. And if you fall and break the bezel, Rolex does not fix anything? Or if you jam the bracelet and is broken?
Thanks Buz.

If you want a black bezel insert on your green Sub, just buy one from the forum and replace it yourself. That's what I did.

Rolex will not install parts on a watch unless those parts were originally available on that reference, nor will they service a watch so equipped unless you agree to having all the non-stock parts replaced with the correct ones. They also do not return any replaced parts, exchange only.
