I enjoy the mix of sport and dress with the PCLs so I personally wouldn't get it brushed.

Which is why I bought the GMTIIc. It is versitile for me. The PCL gives me a dressier look for the office (financial planning) and the overall watch is sporty to wear with shorts and a t shirt when hanging around the neighborhood or football games with the family.
Kind of like a mullet.....All business in the front but all party in the back.

Not that I have a mullet......I just have the GMTIIc.

I like keeping it original myself though. Just my prefrence.

GMTIIc in its natural form.

I'm picturing their new splashy magazine ad campaign featuring an early 90s version billy ray cyrus sporting the watch:

"The Rolex GMTIIc....The mullet of Rolexes."

I'm sure Rolex would love that ad campaign. Personally, I like them brushed. But hey, to each their own.

Why make a GMTIIC look like a SUB? ........A bit of bling on the GMT is brilliant!! Looks like (white gold)!!.. classy..... Love the PCL's.

I like the PCL's and wouldn't/haven't considered having them brushed. But, to each their own- if you don't like 'em, brush 'em!

I am for brushed. Rolex should have held to tradition and kept sport/tool watches brushed. Save the PCL's for dress watches...

I have been thinking a lot about this lately. The PCL really do pick up a lot of surface swirls and scratches. They look so darn good from a distance, but bother me close up.

I understand two of the opinions being expressed, but do not understand the third. I completely understand people who love the PCL and want to keep the watch the way it is. I also completely understand the people that don't like the PCL and have it brushed out. The point of view I don't understand is the person who says, "I hate the PCL bracelet, but there is no way I am going to brush them out." This is not the Mona Lisa or a Faberge Egg. It is a mass produced item that can be easily customized to more closely match some owner's preferences. What is the argument against brushing out the PCL if you do not like them?

With that being said, I am thinking of brushing mine out...I just have to work up the courage.
