Thanks, K4S |

PASS!!! BB has to be the worst AD in the country (some on the board might say it's Tourneau).
K4S p.s. Maybe the guy who was inquiring about becoming an AD would consider opening a store in AZ. PHX/Scotts. is the 8th largest metropolis in the U.S.. |

I was at a BB in the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall and that is what they told me. Never been to the Jared on Broadway, funny since I attended the UofA from '98-'02. You from Tucson?

na, there are two more, but for the life of me I can't think of their name.. They're both in Scottsdale, on on Scottsdale Road up by Keirland, and the other over next to Molina.. I've bought from both in the past, very straight forward. I usually buy from a guy in Northern Ca these days however.

I moved to Tucson, AZ from Texas three years ago. The guys at Jareds are friendly and helpful. It's located right across from the Park Place Mall.

Actually that might make Ben Bridge worst than Tourneaut... the one here in SF doesn't claim to be the only game in town. Cheers y'all!

There are a few more options. Hamra in Scottdale (south of FLW) is an AD. ED Marshalls in Scottsdale (south of Shea) has a large supply of preowned. The Jared's by Arrowhead is supposed to carry some, I have never been to that one. Hamra has a nice selection and have always been pleasant every time I have been in there. ED Marshalls was very stuffy.

Coffin and Trout on Ray and Priest has a nice selection and are quite knowledgable. Maybe a little on the stuffier side, but still pleasant. The Coffin's are a good family, so I'm sure you'll be happy with your experience.
Ganem Jeweler's in Awahtukee also has a nice supply of pre-owned Rolex, if you're looking in the direction but to my knowledge they are not an AD. Depending on the municipality you'll be looking to pay around 8% sales tax. Last edited by Rubenonfire; 24 February 2007 at 07:21 AM.. Reason: Providing more info. |

The Jared's in Glendale by Arrowhead mall is also an AD. Wesley's Fine Jewelers in Phoenix is another one...I can't believe BB told someone that they were the only AD in the state! Clowns...

Naughtons at 32nd and Camelback is also an AD. I just received an AK from my parents as a graduation present, and they purchased it there. Very friendly and good service.

....I bought a new a gmt2 from Wesley's in Scottsdale about 15 yrs. ago. I think I paid $1,140 for it. There used to be a very large Rolex AD on old main st. in Scottsdale..I think he moved over to Biltmore Fashion Park On Camelback. I haven't lived in Phx for quite a while. The Ben Bridge story is typical of their jargon. I've only been into one of their stores and didn't like it..Tourneau, however is in a class by itself for all things unpleasant..I tried on a new style steel and gold gmt2 last Monday {not at Tourneau}..From the pictures, I had thought maybe it might be a bit clunky...Not so at all. The extra size is integrated perfectly into the overall design..Quite and achievment..Is it a Basel truth that Rolex is going to provide a red &black bezel for the stainless model next year?

It does not surprise me that Ben Bridge tried to pull that "we are the only AD ." on you. Weak. I hate Ben Bridge. I have never had a good experience in there and nobody is on the same sheet of music when you go in. You get the "No discounts period." crap and then one staff will give you a nod and a wink wink, "let me make some phone calls." line when you call on them. Hate Ben Bridge. Don't me. I have a great AD now that talks straight with me and has taken care of some of you Dudes here too. |
