Diameter of Sea Dweller vs GMT or Sub

Hi Guys, i recently got a SD and i am just comparing it with my GMT coke. I find it a bit smaller (diameter of the bezel) compared to my gmt coke. Is it just me or it's really smaller because of the design of the bezel... many thanks!

I'm pretty sure its the same. I think the SD looks a little smaller though since it taller.

The dial on the SD is 39MM compared to the Sub and GMT which are 40MM.

+1 Yep. It is 1mm smaller due to the increased thickness of the case walls.

The case is actually the same size at 40mm however the DIAL on the SD is 1mm smaller while the bezel of the SD is 1mm larger, at least compared to the 11610 Submariner. All of this to fit the thicker crystal needed for the depth rating.

You guys are waaaaaaay off...

The Case is 40mm, not the dial....... the dial on the SD is the same size as the dial on the 14060, 29mm. The Sub Date has a slightly larger dial of 30mm. This means that the inside diameter of the bezel inserts are also smaller..

An interesting note is that the new Sub C has a bezel outside diameter of ~41mm, whereas the 16610 has a bezel outside diameter of only 40mm... The Ceramic is a larger watch......
