After i bought my first rolex sub-c LV
time to buy a gift so i decided on the watch but it comes with the same fluted bezel and dial and its in steel and rose gold (fantastic combination)

problem is it comes on both the oyster and the jubilee bracelet

oyster is more modern but the jubilee is more bling no? what do u think?

imo - a DJ should be on a Jubilee bracelet

(DJII being an exception - come on Mr. Rolex....!!!)

My TT DJ is from 1966 and is on it's original oval link made in the USA JB Champion jubilee bracelet. I would love to trade someone the jubilee for an oyster bracelet. I like the oyster more.

Both bracelets are great, but the jubilee has the lighter and more "sparkly" look. To me, this look goes with the fluted bezel better.

It isn't a rule, by any means. If you were talking about that smooth DJ bezel, I would suggest the oyster.

I have jubilee on my turn o graph, but thats in rose gold so I don´t know if its to any help. but in my opinion the jubile i the most comfortable. /Richard

Many Rolex fans like the Jub-Fluted together and Oyster-Smooth together.
But, I've seen Jub-Smooth bezel together, looks great. Oyster w/fluted, also looks great. Bottom line is that all Rolex combinations look great, so get what you like and want to wear.

I have a 31mm DJ in ss/rose gold in the oyster bracelet with fluted bezel and I love it!!! Had to have that bezel but preferred the understated look of the oyster.

To my mind the Jubilee screams DJ to me. While the Oyster bracelet screams sport model Rolex. There are exceptions to the rule such as GMT's on Jubilee style bracelets which looks great and was a factory option if I'm not mistaken.

On Rose gold I'd take the oyster for those large smooth polished areas. Rose gold looks great on that.

I was on the fence but chose oyster. Ultimately what pushed me in that direction was the stretch I so often see in jubilee bracelets. Even though the modern jubilees are less susceptible than older ones due to solid center links, they still stretch much more quickly than oysters.
