Checking in from Panama.....

Walked @ local AD in Multiplaza Mall, selection is VERY nice (SS, 2T and YG pieces) and includes some 'unusual' pieces, such as a red leather YG, diamond encrusted DJ, the famous Rolex winder, etc.

Pricing: full retail. Zero discounts. The bad news: no discounts. The good news, a couple of watch retailers opened up stores, while they do not carry Rolex, now you can buy Zenith, JLC, BP, UN, AP, Vacheron and other high end pieces in the same shopping mall!

Hottest piece here: Cartier's Calibre. What people are wearing: SS Sub C, pre-c GMT's, 2T DJs.

Well, time to go back to work....

Thanks for sharing Gerardo, that mall sounds like a watch Mecca No discounts? at all for ROLEX??? Sign of the times, or just an unfamiliar customer?

I'm not surprised to hear you saw/found the pre C GMT's a familiar sight, rugged, functional, very purposeful looking tool watch IMHO

If you get a chance, you know we love pics.

Well, I'm off to work now also, to try not to dream about far away exotic watch malls

Rob

Will try to get pix (front door guard was not to happy with my attempt). As far as discounts: none. Zip. Zero. Yes, I am not a regular, but I think that if I show up on business attire wearing a 2T sub-c I 'might' mean business. Well, not to them

Having fun at Mercurio? They had a big sale a couple of months ago, just before the sales tax hike. I love Multiplaza and their wonderful watch shops. (I´ve spent many hours there). It´s rare to be able to see so many high end watches in just one place.

Enjoy your time in Panama.

That is a WIS report.. Why look at the places and architecture when you can count Rolex watches in peoples wrists ... Well done my friend
