The Montblanc pens we have at home
Here are some pictures of the Montblanc pens we have at home . I say at home as I no longer take them out . I already lost 3 in my lifetime . The first one was my mother's with I used for a while and lost . I could not say what model it was as I have no knowledge of Montblanc pens nor pens in general . The two others were the classic "black" bakelite ones . Both were in a attache case that was stolen from my car years ago .
Now the 2 "normal" silver and gold ones are mine .one ballpoint and the other is an ink pen ( I must sound like an real idiot .. which I no doubt am .. to tell that to the pro's here ) The smaller one is one I bought for my wife's birthday about 4 years ago . I believe it is a "Boheme" . I hope you guys can tell me more about it . Are they good pens / models or did we buy the wrong ones ?? I would love to learn a bit more about the Montblanc pens .. guess I will have to frequent this section a bit more . Sorry about the bad pictures |

Tristan, you have many very nice pens at home and please start using them. I'm pretty new to the fountain pen world myself so I can't help you very much. Your MontBlanc pens with the silver barrel and cap are sterling silver and are marked .925, Ag...
The nib on your fountain pen is 18K gold and as to what size it is I have no idea from your pictures. Btw you do have some very nice pens and the experts should be along any time now!!!

Nice pens Tristan! Yes, the first one is the Boheme solitaire sterling silver. I believe they called it Je T'aime. The sapphire on the clip is beautiful!
The fountain pen looks like a 146 sterling silver with medium nib. Production date should be after mid 90s or so. The ballpen looke like a 144 sterling silver, also made after mid 90s. The SToD hallmark started to appear around the mid 90s till now. |

If the pens have been in the drawer for a while, you better ensure no dried ink stuck inside. Best is to soak the nib in water overnight and see.

Nice pens Tristan. Start putting them to use. I find that using a nice pen makes me think about what I am writing and how I am writing it.

Tristan,
You have some premium MB pens. I believe all of them are Doue's sterling silver and extremely nice! Love the Boheme with the stone! My compliments!
