I think I would like them more if they were just a little bigger (42mm tops) to space out the dial and please, please, bring back black bezels to give more room for the face.

Touche!
Let's see. 42mm ----> check black bezel ----> check more legible ----> check Rolex?----> NOPE!

I'm saving for a SS Daytona and almost there. Should I just wait?

If they were going to attempt this, it should be the YG/WG models only and the only acceptable change would be green hands on the subdials and green lettering; pretty much a Newman Daytona with the red swapped for green.
Doesn't make sense to do it on the steel. If you think you can upcharge a "special edition," why not do it in precious metal so you can really up-charge it. Maybe do a limited run platinum Daytona with green as described above? |

And unless something's changed, they're not trying to put tons of SS Daytonas out there, otherwise the hype would have died long ago. If they're going to do a limited run, might as well do one that they make money off of, as opposed to grey dealers making money off of. |
