My GMTIIc
Hello Everyone!
I'm new to this forum, I thought I could first of all use this post to introduce myself and also ask a question... I bought my GMT II c for christmas and I have noticed there is no "hologram" on the bottom of the crystal. Is there suppost to be one? Thanks Guys, D |

It's there but very hard to see. A magnifier and good lighting at the right angle you should see it. It is at the 6:00 position, but I have heard it may off a little either way.

Great watch - but then I will be biased since I have one too!
The little etched crown will be there, just very difficult to see. I have seen them on both my Sub and GMT but sometimes I can't make them out. Any pics of your watch and where abouts in the UK are you from? M |

Yeah, the only way I could see mine is a dimly lit room with a good flashlight perpendicular to the dial so the light shines "across" the crystal.

I used a red laser light from a leveling tool. It was still difficult to see. Try aiming the light across the crystal rather than directly at it.

The easiest and sure-fire way to spot the laser etching is to hold the watch under a 40W reading lamp and then view the etching with a 10x loupe. JJ |
