Hi! first post! Vintage President question
Hi everyone, new to the forum since I just bought my first Rolex. I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer.
I just purchased a 1978 18KT Gold DayDate Presidential and had a question about the bezel. It contains ninety four channel set tapered baguette cut diamonds. After doing some research I was unable to find any pictures of the same bezel which is on my watch. Is this custom? Common? Any info would be helpful. Thanks! |

Beautiful watch, congrats.
FYI, both the bezel and dial are aftermarket. |

can you point me to some examples of stock presidents of that era? I'm not sure about watches, but I know adding after market parts can sometimes hurt the value of vintage items. Does the same go for rolex watches? |
