ARA Diver
Hello TRFer's
I've been looking at watches in the $500 range and ran into this ARA brand out of Canada/Switzerland. http://www.masterwatchmaker.net/item...detail.htm?1=1 Does anyone here have any experience with these watches??? They seem well made with good ETA movements. Would love to hear any feedback before i commit to buying one. I've tried the search engine but can't seem to find anything. thanks in advance!!! |

Lower grade ETA movement, not great reliability.
Just the fact that they call themselves "Master Watchmakers" is a tip off alone. |

Get a Marathon!
If you want an inexpensive divers watch thats the best ticket!

I used to wear St. Moritz watches when I used to dive. They held up nicely and are based out of Vancouver.

I have Certina dive watches that have stood the test of time very well, not that they were truly used for diving but were used in sports and all and wear very well..do check them out...easily within your range their most serious diver I think is the DS Blue Ribbon.
