Do You know what is so fascinating about Rolex?

I think I do!

Got my first Submariner in 1991, and still enjoy wearing it today, after twenty years and having owned many different watches from different brands!

Always come back to the Sub, never get tired of it. Do you know any other product which has given you over such a long time this feeling of satisfaction?
(And I talk about products, nothing else....)

Today, I own several Subs, and I like them all!

What do you girls and guys think, why is it that Rolex is so fascinating??

Opinions welcome!

I think I know....

The fact that my dad owned one and cherished it while he was alive.

The fact that the same watch now is the one material thing that I have to remind me of him.

The fact that I still feel a strong connection with him every time I wear the watch.

The fact that the modern Rolex I have today may remind someone of me years after I am gone.

I like the fact that my Rolex and I are building memories together. And, when I am long dead and gone, my loved ones will continue to build memories with my Rolex and maybe
Remember me and smile.

Because it always feels so good and looks so good....and is so functional....and never needs a battery....and because it feels special to see one in the wild.

Watches and bracelets built like tanks - no babying this watch, especially the sports models. No need to take it off to shower, sleep, golf, etc. Just look at it and you know the time, date, and the fact that you own one of the best timepieces ever built.

Who else could build so many watches while maintaining such quality? Heck - who could even build that many watches?

Rolex's loyal following is well earned indeed!!!

I agree that there is something different about Subs compared to other (non Rolex) diver watches. Not sure exactly what Perhaps a combination of quality, design and comfort. Must admit, frequenting this forum also helps to boost my fondness of Rolex

Unfortunately, "those Oysters" aren't made with those "seductive curves" anymore.
