Introducing my latest acquisition;

I've had this watch for a few weeks now but totally forgot go post here, sorry all. I'm now recovering for surgery and have all the time in the world so thought I'd make a quick post.

Here she is, my brand new IWC chronograph. It will delay my purchase of the sub for a long while, but this watch spoke to me more.

I phoned Australia customs before purchasing because I foresaw some issues with the alligator strap. They confirmed my suspicion so I order it on the IWC kevlar strap instead.

Wishing you a speedy recovery mate.

Love it!
I really like it on that strap, its a sporty watch and
I think the Gator makes it look like its trying to be too dressy.

I don't like chronographs with such a busy dial that you have to look twice just to tell the time.

But that can't be said for your piece mate which I think's a stunner....

Congratulations & speedy recovery.

Your IWC chrono is a beauty!

Please tell us about OZ customs and alligator straps?
Cheers, Bill P.

Congrats too! I almost recently bought an IWC Pilot Spitfire UTC, but then went for a lightly used Rolex GMT Master 2 with a pepsi bezel, that i just authenticated yesterday with a rolex dealer's watchmaker. The IWC will probably be my next purchase.

Congrats. If I were to stray away from Rolex, IWC would be on my shortlist.

Congratulations on a great watch

I've had mine for a couple of years now and love it. And actually the kevlar strap on yours may just look better than the standard gator. I might have to get one!

I'm a Rolex guy through and through but if I ever buy another brand of watch, it will be an IWC.

A stunning piece, congrats.
