16613 question

So - as many of us know, around the same time Rolex took out the lug-holes on a TT sub AND added gold through the clasp. If I'm not mistaking, Y-serial year (2003-2004) is when it happened. But did Rolex make those changes simultaneously? Are there 16613's with only ONE of those improvements? If so, which came first? I THANK YOU in advance for your input.

In case anyone is wondering, I am asking because I want to be buried with a TT Sub, but don't want the soil to get into the lugholes....

Greg, the gold thru the clasp came first on the GMT(U-series) followed by the Sub with the following series(A). Both still had the lug holes.

Some A series 16613 had SEL bracelets others did not. It was at the end of the A series production run that the SEL was introduced. Y serial same pattern most (90%) Y's had holes in the case but the end of the Y series production run had no holes cases.(marked 16613 T)
F serial and after all have No Holes /SEL 100%

Some LATE Y 16610's and 16710's had no holes cases.... was the Y 16613 an exception and always have holes as a Y? Sorry to bring up an old thread- but just curious!
