Went to an AD

I went to an AD today, and it rocked. They had Omegas, Rolexes (no new ones yet), JLCs, B&Ms, Armanis, Tissots, Rotaries and Guccis as well I think.

The Rolexes were best, I was thinking about getting a midsize Seamaster auto new, but after seeing the Rolexes - there's no way I could. Also, I can see why people go for the colored bezels on the GMT - they didn't have a Pepsi, but they did have red and black and the red was almost maroon with its richness of colour. They didn't have any "JJ specials," but they did have an SD, SS Sub, GMT-II, YM I, DD and truckloads of DJs. WIS heaven on earth I tells ya!

Like a kid in a candy store. Love those places. I was in Las Vegas and the watch stores there are AMAZING.

I've seen pictures of those, almost as glitzy as the casinos themselves, eh?

Wanting to speak and write English correctly should not be confused with a mental disorder.

I want it to read "Went to an AD." (without the full stop)

Hang on, lets get this back on track, lol

Prez, where was the AD situated?

My local AD's display is cool but rarely changes and doesn't have the selection you spoke of. My son lives near a huge shopping mall in Kent & says that the window display will change on almost a daily basis

I think I've got the picture Prez, lol

I always like the displays in the larger malls, particulary if theres other brands as well for comparision.

We bought my wifes YM in an AD in Miami, after the purchase we walked a few hundred yards and stumbled across this grey dealer, my eyes nearly popped out of my head! this guy had almost every model & would change a dial while you waited!!!

I was wondering that, but isn't it's own richness of colour? Does the richness of colour belong to the bezel?

Edit: I looked it up and you're absolutely right.

Pinwit is right, you tosser.

"It's" is used when you want to say "It is..." as in: "It's a beautiful day!"

"Its" is to be used in personal....so your sentence above is grammatically wrong and should read as: .....but isn't its own richness...

Get it?

I wanted it to read "Went to an AD." (Without the full stop and obviously without the quotation marks, and with the an added.)

Prez does not really exist. he is one of those programs that posts replies to make you think you are talking to someone.
