That's very surprising. The lugs are as wide as the new Sub on the Sub Date booklet. Also, the plots and the hands are bigger than you'd expect on the current 14060M.

And the omissions are also strange since they are both correctly represented on the Sub Date cover.

We deserve better photoshopping here. The dial still says "Oyster perpetual date".

But I guess this is what we should expect from a 114060 or whatever the reference will be.

Perhaps Jocke can fix something out of this.

Best,

A

All Rolex automatics with a date say that. My EXP II has the "OPD" wording across the dial.

The new pic just raises more questions. That ND crown is the same as the Exp II. So, we're getting a Sub without a Trip-lock? Doubtful.

Compare it to the Sub Date booklet which obviously depicts a Trip-lock.
Just can't see that happening either ...

Where is Dan Brown when you need him?

Well, I think there are some things we all could probably agree might be nice changes. Maxi-dial plots would really be good, giving a nod to the old 5513 Maxi. Also, we have had two recent sports models with matte dials (Exp 39mm and SDDS). I would love to see the new ND with a matte dial.
