I did the laser light on the crystal a little while ago (see my avatar), the effect is very interesting. The first photos is just red laser reflecting on the inner chapter ring, no attempt to see the cornet.
Passing any light (white, coloured laser) at an oblique angle across the crystal will reveal the coronet; the thing about the laser is that it is so focused, so when you catch the coronet, it really lights and thus the small crown is more visible to the naked eye. The blue laser shot--not the best--shows how a coloured laser (bright and focused) makes the coronet more visible more easily. The close up lit with regular white light. C |
