Hi from Sydney

Hi all,

Newbie here from Sydney looking to purchase my first Rolex! Looking at either a 16610 or 16610LV! All depends on the exchange rate when I head over to Hong Kong in the next few weeks!

Extremely excited to be getting my first 'Rollie'!

Any members know what the prices are for the 16610 or 16610LV from Hong Kong AD's?

I've searched previous posts and the last post was back in nov 2010 which stated the 16610 was around 42,000 HKD after 8% disc?

BTW nice to see members here without chips on their shoulders!

Hey mate - welcome to TRF! Great choice of watch..I'm a big fan of the 16610LV. Not sure of prices in Hong Kong...but our trusted sellers on here are top notch. May be worth checking out.

Enjoy !!

Oh...and lots of members over your way..

Wecome! it may well be worth checking your local AD, i think the prices in HK are extremely high.

Mate, first thing I did was check the for sale section!

Unfortunately everything seems to be located in the US though.

Really? I was under the impression they were cheaper and with the current favorable exchange rate, looking to score a good deal!

Although i just word back from a mate over in HK to get a price from an AD and was quoted 56,8000 HKD = ~ 7,000 AUD. Somehow i don't think they got the price for a 16610 or 16610LV?

I vote for the LV, much more unique esp. when you can get a black insert and exchange with the green insert from time to time.

Our trusted sellers will ship anywhere in the world. Good hunting and welcome aboard!

The latest info is the sub lv is 47,000 HKD minus 8% discount (6,024 AUD), go to your local AD and negotiate as close as you can to that figure.

or of course buy from one of the trusted sellers on here.

Welcome to TRF!!
We have quite a few members from Sydney on the boards....
Good luck on your search for the SubLN or LV..My advice would be to do your research of the sellers here and purchase through this site....
Enjoy the boards,
Rob.

Welcome to TRF! Either way 16610 or 16610 LV, they're both excellent watches!

Might be a silly question but anyway to avoid or reduce the import duty/taxes or do you just take it on the chin and accept it?

Thanks for the referrals too
