newbie treading water

Hello,

Watches have always interested me, I have a couple of vintage Boluva's, Walthams, Royale Geneve (more than likely a fake), and now a Rolex out of a thrift store (which has got to be a replica, a very good one).

So here I am trying to learn a bit about Rolex's

My advice would be to smash those replica watches with a hammer and save for a decent and respectable timepiece.

You will not last long around here with replicas

First welcome to TRF but its one thing we do not talk about on TRF is fake or replicas made to deceive they are real Rolex.I would suggest if you want a Rolex or any other real genuine brand. Buy the genuine article because the only one you will be fooling is yourself with any fake.

My 2 cents - Replicas

If you like the style (e.g. a Sub or a Pam), you can buy watches like the Debaufre Ocean 1 or International Watchman Marine Diver.

A million times better than a replica for a similar cost. And you are supporting real watchmakers rather than fraudsters.

Welcome to TRF.
