Oh no...that's not a Pepsi is it?

So I was boarding a plane earlier today...making my way through first class to my seat in coach.

I see one guy wearing a Sub. Nice then, I see what looks to be a Pepsi...but it doesnt look right.

Whoa! It was a GMTII...PVD!!!

The black watch with a red and blue bezel insert made me want to cry.

That's it. Oy. I'm better now :-)

I don't get it either but to each his own. It shows you are a WIS just for noticing.

Never seen a PVD Rolex in the wild ... don't care for the look. To me, they are paying money to devalue an otherwise perfectly good watch.

Weird when you see them close up, isn't it ? A jeweler shop on front line Puerto Banus , Marbella had a Deepsea PVD with red letting . They called it "Picard" or something like that .
Not only was it expensive but I thought it was ugly too .

Some people love them, personally I hate them. To each their own, but it will kill you trying to resell the thing, IMHO.

I'll go a bit against the grain. PVD might have a place on some references. Not sure one of them is a RED/BLUE GMT though.

I'd have to change the insert to Black.

I'd rather have DLC if I were to go that route though.

To each his own.

To me, it is less obnoxious than blinging Rolex's out with diamonds.

My watch was sent to the same people who DLC for Time and Gems:
