Red sub help

Ok, I know some of you have been watching this so please chime in. Is that a MKVI relume? Second hand looks replaced. Anyone want to give their opinion as to what they would grab this for if it were real?

I will leave the dial up to the dial experts to comment. However if anyone is looking to bid on this watch, please be advised from the picture provided of the movement it appears to have the markings of a 1560 caliber movement not a 1570 caliber. Do not be miss lead by the markings on the auto bridge. The balance arrangement has the characteristics of a 1560 cal. As far as I know a 1560 cal never was used in a 1680 Rolex. The 1560 cal is a chronometer movement as well, so it not deal breaker just be aware that the watch has a history and most likely was replace along the way.

The dial, mk VI, has been messed with and is incorrect.

Assuming that you will buy a new dial for it then the price now, $2,600, is probably about what its worth imo.

You would need to be sure of the issue with the movement also.

Looks like a white dial with "submariner" painted red.
The crown guards do not match any 1680 case I've ever seen.
The hair spring guard on the movement is broken.
