Good/Bad deal?

Not an expert on Breitlings at all. Just wondering if you would consider this deal fair?

I'm also puzzled on what the purpose is of plating anything nickel. In fact, anything plated to makes me want to run for the hills.

E-Bay

And in point of fact, the only relationship to Breitling at all was through the company owner. Some sicura watches were similar in appearance (and nothing else) to the long defunct Jupiter, Mars and Pluto chronographs. Here is some information for you... http://watchipedia.blogspot.com/2010...ds-sicura.html Bottom line, unless you're a collector of obscure and practically worthless chronograph pieces, steer well clear of that one...
Best,

Thanks for the info.

Looks like he had 5 offers already but didn't want to sell. Sure wish I could see what those other offers were. What do you think would be reasonable here?

I've watched these on ebay...I'm with the guys above that it's not the highest quality movement. If its a personal watch that you really like...I think you could probably get one on Ebay for $250-300.
