Daytona Owners... Do you become unscrewed?
I usually consider myself pretty screwed all the time but I have noticed something a lot lately, I keep looking down at my watch and finding the actuators loose (unscrewed). I don't really crank it down when I screw them back in (should I?) but was wondering if over time, (my watch is three years old) the threads become a little worn and hence, the buttons unscrew easier
Someone that has had their Daytona for many years please chime in with your experience. |

Are you saying you're screwed all the time and unscrewed only once a week?

The pusher screw downs are pretty much decorative and really shouldn't be tightened too much...
I imagine that the rotation of your wrist could rub against them and loosen them a bit.. ... perhaps you have too much wrist motion.......

The "screws" are mere lock nuts to prevent the chrono pushers being activated when the watch is in water.. even unscrewed the watch is still water proof -- unless you push those pushers!

So, if I'm not going in the water, is there any reason to keep the pushers screwed down, rather than open?

Yep , mine tends to do that as well . Just tighten them screws a little more or take the watch off when your " at it " .
