I think if you removed the platinum it would remove the mystique of the YM. Look at the WG Daytona with silver dial. Nowhere near as gorgeous as the YM with platinum dial.

Gorgeous indeed, but price could use a minor tweaking IMHO. I'd be drawn to it more if the price was a bit different.

Agree. If there is SS only YM I think they will sell very poorly. It would be a Sub with gray bezel/dial.
