I just spent a week in Cancun where I wore my recently serviced and polished and new (to me) TT Submariner every day. I water skiied, swam in the ocean, sailed, sunbathed and played in the sand with it on. I'm looking at it now and I see scratches on the bezel and definitely on the bracelet. Yes, they hurt but I don't plan on owning any watches that I don't actually wear.
