Steve's (lol-x) Visit to Perth Picture Thread Part 2!!!!!!
So this was the order of events for Steve's visit yesterday:
We were all working so Steve had most of the day to himself... Then I met him at Perth Railway station at 4pm..and we headed into town for some watch LOOKING.... Here are a couple of shots.....we liked the look of 40% off!!!!!!! :) The Rose Gold Daytona is definitely a watch I'm attracted to :)!!!! YM II....a tad big for my tastes...and my wrist....the Daytona just felt so much better on me....But WHAT a watch!!!!!!!!! We also went and had a look at another re-seller...but no pics from there. Then we headed to Clarences in Mount Lawley (via my work as I left my car in the car park) to meet the rest of the crew: Des; John; Mitch; Sherwin...and we were also joined there for drinks with Peter from Swiss Watch Box (the re-sellers)...was great to have you there mate. Here are some shots of drinks.....Beer for Des, Peter + me Paulie & Rob!!!!!!!!!....and also Steve ....although I am afraid that he did get influenced to have the Fruit Cider with Mitch, John + Sherwin I'm not saying anything...I've already been banned once Some shots from Clarences: Peter on the left and Sherwin on the right: Sherwin on the left..Me middle and Steve right: Des left; Mitch centre and John right OK - Now we have all been identified..... Then we headed to a bottle shop (liquor store) where Des took Steve down to the cellar and brought out some fine Reds.....These were Penfolds and I am sure des can tell you more....Just so you know Paulie and Rob I was on THE BEER: Following that we headed (as per Steve's request) to Des' family haunt...and absolutely AWESOME Chinese joint in Chinatown...you may remember the shots from one of our last GTGs hereThe first shots show the wine Des picked up......Des phoned ahead and arranged for an enormous Deep Sea Crab.....We also had Lobster, Roast Duck, Crazy Chicken.....with plenty of BEER...wine....and coke for some:cheers:Special thanks to Des here for treating us all to this fantastic feast..... The Wine: The Crab...in it's tank...still ok.... The we waited: The Crab said hello before being taken to the kitchen.... Seriously DISTURBING Des...and gave me nightmares Then the Crab was served Some Wasabi Prawns Some Lobster....and the FEAST: It was an awesome night...we ate till we couldn't eat anymore....and then everyone headed home...Steve and I jumped in a cab back to Freo....the others headed in their direction....AND this afternoon it continues with them all coming over to my home for lunch - a Seafood Marinara being cooked for us by my lovely wife Alison...I'd better get started as they are expected in a couple of hours!!!!!

I've noticed that GTGs - regardless of country of origin - feature either Asian / Chinese food or Irish Bar / beer

Where do I start??? A 3 day bender with the boys and today Alison made us all the most fantastic Marinara/pasta Thank you so very much Ali
We had too much fun. Over to Dalip's for lunch, then over to Cottelsoe, then back to Freo for cocktails and over to the best Northern Indian restaurant, just too good. Copyright's on Dalip's camera, I trust he'll be posting part 3 in due course
