Mystery Tudor!
A long time lurker, first time poster needs help!
So, I was going to buy my better half a birthday gift the other day... so naturally I walked into an antiques shop. Bad idea! Ended up buying myself a little something instead. Spotted this nice looking little Tudor and had to have it. However, I can't for the life of me seem to identify it! I'm an Omega man at heart, so I don't know too much about old Tudor or Rolex watches, but I'm guessing this one is from the 1940's judging by the look of the logo. I also think there's something quite Art Deco-ish about it. The reference number doesn't help me much. From the lists out there it would suggest that it dates from the late 1960's, however as I said, from my understanding the Tudor logo looked like that from approx. the mid-30's to the mid-40's. Just doesn't make sense. Could anyone please shed some light on what on earth I've bought? http://img852.imageshack.us/i/img0035mo.jpg/ http://img864.imageshack.us/i/img0030kw.jpg/ |
