need help with GBP pricelist

somebody told me prices went up almost 50% in more or less 12 - 18 months in GBP, is this correct ????

What was the price for a 116610 15 months ago and how much is it today ?

Bit of an exaggeration there! To give you an idea, I can remember back in the first half of 2008, shortly after I started, that a 116710 cost £3600, they now retail at £4900, so they've gone up about 30% in that time. That also takes into account VAT originally being 17.5% at that point, dropping to 15%, going back up to 17.5%, and then up to 20% in January of this year.

Could it be that gold models went up that much ? Gold became much more expensive

from memory, there were 2 price increases on top of the annual increase in 2009 due to the weakness of the GBP... that was one of the reasons (to stop non-UK EU citizens to come into the UK to buy Rolex instead)
