372 availability

Any thoughts on whether the scheduled number of units will sideline the flippers or will demand exceed supply?

I tried to reserve one at London's largest Panerai dealer and was told they'd only been alloted 5 pieces for 2011 and was too late. I think it is an unusual situtaion: the first time the most highly regarded and sought after new SIHH release is not a SE? Can anyone recall a similar situation before?

It is an unusualy run or watches. Panerai is supposedly only making them for a 2 year run. It is kind of a SE, but not really.

If you really want one, call the Boutiques and get on this list. At 3000 units promised to be made (over 2 years), eveyone who wants one should get one.

Also, I think Panerai left the door open to make more units if it is that big of a success (this is just a theory on my part). I think many will be purchased and then people realize they are too big for them. But take my theory for what it is.......a free theory.

Ditto! If they'd make this in 44mm, I'd be allllllllllll over it. 47mm, I want to give it a test drive first and yeah, I have another Panerai I'm looking for atm!!!

Doesn't that describe a rather large percentage of the releases?
