silly question

hi guys/gals,

sorry for the silly question... i purchased a Rolex Submariner Date SS from an authorized dealer in 2008.

how do i tell what the serial number is? and is the bezel ceramic?

i am not even sure.

It should be on your certificate.

If you don't have it check between the lugs.

Yep, and if you bought it in 2008, it's not a ceramic bezel.

If you want to confirm that the s/n is the same as the cert, then, you'll have to check between the lugs. You'll need to remove the bracelent from the case.

An 08 model might have it on the rehaut, no?

Come to think of it, if it's a 08 the serial # would be on the rehaut.

The rehaut is the SS circle around the dial. You should see the Serial No. at the 6 O'clock position.

Depends on condition and if you have all boxes and papers. Look at the for sale section of the forum. There are always tons of 16610's for sale.
