Will Rolex update the Coke/Pepsi GMT w/Ceramic?

I just looooooooove the GMT Coke (although the Pepsi Bez are very nice too). I like to have the latest, greatest in gadgets, esp., the new GMT IIc and Sub c.

I am so curious to know if Rolex will update the GMT Coke/Pepsi down the road with the latest gagdgets from the GMT IIc & Sub c. If they do, any idea what the starting price will be for the timepiece?

I am sure the ADs won't be able to keep it in stock.

When I was a kid, I saw my dad's friend with a GMT Coke on, and fell in love with the watch. Told myself that will be the 1st Rolex I will get when I can afford it. I came very close to buying one for myself, but that's when the GMT IIc was introduced. Now, I am onto the Sub c, but I am hoping in a couple of yrs., Rolex will update the Coke/Pepsi GMT with Ceramic, etc....

Will my childhood dream come true????

Rolex is having problems creating a two color ceramic bezel. For now we all have to wait.

Well Larry think Rolex has a problem with the magnetron cathode sputtering. Seems like they cannot get the Pepsi ceramic to splutter together correctly.

I'm going to say at some point they will. When I have no idea. Rolex will be carefull to not have hot watches compete with each other, but at some point....

haven't you heard? it's coming out tomorrow! rolex is just as secretive as apple. however, you have the world guessing what apple is doing, but only few of us asking what rolex is planning.

Apple also moves a whole lot faster than Rolex. :) I think it could be several years before we see a two-color ceramic bezel, both for technical and for marketing reasons.

The sputtering has nothing to do with the bezel insert itself. Just with putting the platinum on the numbers...
